From Regret to Redemption: Refocusing My Goals and Dreams

Today, I attended an event featuring Wushu performers, and as I gazed at the event poster, a wave of regret washed over me. I was transported back to a decision I made six years ago when I joined an academy to learn Wushu. Now, as I looked at the poster, three individuals stood out – they were my former academy peers who had continued their journey in Wushu. However, I had chosen a different path, venturing into the world of business and technology. While I'm not dissatisfied with my current endeavors, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness about leaving Wushu halfway.

This incident served as a poignant reminder of the importance of not abandoning my pursuits prematurely. I've realized that unfinished ventures often lead to regrets down the road. From now on, I am committed to seeing things through, rather than quitting halfway. It's a valuable lesson I've learned, and I intend to apply it diligently.

Despite my past lack of clarity, I am now setting clearer goals. I've decided to focus on studying and coding, enhancing my online presence, and making the most of social media platforms.

Here's my plan:

- Study and Coding: My primary objective is to become a web developer by the end of 2024. I am determined to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve this goal.

- Online Presence: I will utilize platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook to share my business ideas and project updates for my personal use. On Twitter, I'll post my quotes and writings, and on Instagram, I'll provide life updates without being too active on social media.

- YouTube: I plan to use YouTube to share life lessons, insights, and perhaps some fun vlogs.

This shift in focus represents my commitment to personal and professional growth. While I do harbor some regrets about my past decisions, I'm choosing to channel that energy into setting and achieving new, well-defined goals.

In addition to my personal aspirations, I aim to make a meaningful impact on society. I plan to engage in at least 15 social work projects through my own NGO. This will allow me to give back to the community and create a positive change in the world.

While it's challenging to navigate life without the advice of a mentor or friend, I'm embracing this opportunity for self-discovery and personal growth. It's a journey I've embarked on, and it's not just about the short-term. I'm committed to the long haul.

So, let's turn the page on those past regrets and focus on the next target. With clear goals in mind, I am ready to take on the world, one step at a time.
